Greg completed post graduate studies at Curtin University where he attained a Masters in Podiatry, with particular focus on hallux valgus (or bunions) with published research in juvenile hallux valgus.
“It is an enjoyable challenge working in the diagnostics, treatment and management of so many different foot conditions. Through my Masters study, work with the Podiatry Board, WA and through consultations with 1000s of patients over the years, I have learnt the importance of moving beyond opinion, which is always in flux, and focusing on finding workable solutions.
A problem solving approach takes into account individual needs and circumstances, in the development of a treatment and management plan that not only reduces pain and increases mobility but helps people achieve their personal goals.”
Not to ‘over treat’ is often the best policy, and confidence in applying that comes from extensive experience and expert consultation.
Greg loves Perth, the people, the climate and the active life style. In his spare time Greg enjoys spending time with his family, fitness, cycling, hiking, and travel.
“I try to get away to the Stirling Ranges, in the Great Southern, for a hiking trip once or twice a year. Recently I achieved a lifetime ambition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 metres)”
Staying active and reaching our goals is what makes us happy in life. So taking good care of our feet is a clever place to start.
